King Brothers Ltd are a fully licensed Scrap metal merchants and waste transfer station offering skip hire with over 80 years experience in our industry. We operate from our site in Stranraer and serve all of Dumfries and Galloway and South Ayrshire. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and our reputation for reliability. We offer the following services to the public and commercial customers.
- Buyer of all scrap metals. King Brothers Ltd accept all grades of scrap metal at our purpose designed, fully licensed 4 acre Stranraer site complete with 50 ton weighbridge, 2 Liebherr scrap handlers and Sierra scrap metal Shear Baler. Alternatively, we collect scrap metal using roll on off bins or skips and can collect scrap cars with our Tilt and slide recovery truck. All customers are given a waste transfer note for the metals that they sell us and are paid by bank transfer as soon as the load is emptied.
- Buyers of Scrap Gold and Silver. King Brothers Ltd buy all types of precious metals, from broken and unwanted jewellery to coins and cutlery. Items can be valued at our Stranraer office or house calls can be arranged by appointment.
- Skip Hire. King Brothers Ltd provide skip hire to all domestic and commercial customers for a variety of waste materials. We offer 2 and 3 yard mini skips, 8-14 yard chainlift skips both open and enclosed and all sizes of hooklift bins. These are tipped at our SEPA licenced waste transfer station and segregated using our 6 bay picking station. As much material as possible is recycled and then reused. We offer a same day service and have trucks in Stranraer, Newton Stewart and surrounding areas every day. We pride ourselves on having an efficient, reliable and competitively priced solution to your skip hire requirements.
- Buyers and sellers of plant and machinery. King Brothers Ltd buy all types of plant and machinery including tractors, diggers, telehandlers, forklifts, trucks, trailers and much more. We also buy second hand cars, redundant stock and other goods. Our stock can be viewed at our Stranraer site by appointment.
